Usually one to two weeks, driven by the fabricator's schedule and the material. We template the day the cabinets are set and level so the clock starts as early as it can.
Quartz is more consistent and needs no sealing. Granite is natural stone, so every slab is different and it wants resealing periodically. Neither is better in the abstract. We ask how you cook before recommending one.
Yes. If the cabinets are sound we can do countertops on their own. We check the cabinet run first and tell you if it needs leveling, because setting new stone on a bad run wastes the money.
